Moisture and leaks: what nobody should believe unqualified

If you serve hot, soupy or high-hold-temperature food from a central kitchen, or you just need the lowest cost in a region with no plastic rules, conventional PP is arguably the right call — I will sell it to you with clear eyes rather than moralize. If your brand sells sustainability, your market is post-ban Europe or a US city with foam rules, or clients push you toward certified compostable takeaway, cornstarch earns its higher price by keeping you eligible to sell and by making the story on the box match the material in hand.
