What This Actually Is
A single moulded food tray with six separate wells, made from a cornstarch-based food-grade bioplastic in our Qingdao plant. Its job is to keep a multi-part portion separated — a main with a ring of smaller wells — so sauce, sides and garnish don’t run into each other before the customer sits down.
Why a Rigid Multi-Well Tray
- Sections hold hot and cold separately during service.
- Stiff walls keep their shape on a stacked counter or in a delivery bag better than crimped paper.
- One tray, one SKU — simpler than lidding several small cups.

Material & Verification
Food-container grade bioplastic intended for commercial composting streams; for any compliance pack (food-contact declaration, compostability certificate for the lot), we supply the matching lab report on request rather than quoting a blanket claim.
Where It’s Used
Pre-portioned grab-and-go, canteen and catering hot lines, food trucks that plate a main plus several sides, and multi-course takeaway.
Tell us the weekly volume — the request-a-quote form brings back per-SKU weights, carton counts and factory-direct pricing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ for this product?
Mixed-container orders are the norm for this line. A trial quantity is possible, but the landed cost per unit climbs sharply on a part-load, so most buyers start with a small mix and then scale into a full container.
Can it be customised or printed?
Yes. Branding on this line goes on the outer packaging or an added sleeve rather than the product itself, and custom print needs artwork plus a tooling check. Send your logo and we will confirm what the mould can hold.
Is it suitable for hot, cold or greasy food?
It depends on the use. For hot, greasy or long-held food we will confirm the temperature and hold-time it is rated for; for cold or dry service it performs comfortably. Always test a sample against your actual menu before a container order.
What certifications apply?
The material is tested to the common compostability standards (for example ASTM D6400 / EN 13432, and OK Compost where applicable). We supply the current certificate for your specific lot on request instead of leaning on a website badge.
