What This Is
Fork, spoon and knife moulded from CPLA — crystallised PLA, the heat-tolerant version of bioplastic. The crystallisation is the whole story: where ordinary PLA softens on hot food, CPLA keeps its firmness over a typical hot takeaway or canteen main.
Why Venues Standardise On It
- Firm through hot mains, rice bowls, noodles and stews — no droop mid-meal.
- Reads and handles close to a good plastic disposable, but it’s plant-based.
- Uniform fork-spoon-knife set keeps one supplier across the whole operation.
Scale Ordering
Because this is the SKU institutions run in bulk, we price by the case with volume breaks and can CT-justify the exact set to meet your spend. Fork-to-spoon ratios are set at your spec.
Material & End of Life
CPLA is commercially compostable (certificate for the batch on request); it is not oil-based PET/PP. Don’t compost it at home — it needs an industrial heat-and-microbe cycle.
Ordering
Stock or scheduled runs from Qingdao, FOB, T/T or L/C. Request-a-quote form to get per-set cost at your volume.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ for this product?
Mixed-container orders are the norm for this line. A trial quantity is possible, but the landed cost per unit climbs sharply on a part-load, so most buyers start with a small mix and then scale into a full container.
Can it be customised or printed?
Yes. Branding on this line goes on the outer packaging or an added sleeve rather than the product itself, and custom print needs artwork plus a tooling check. Send your logo and we will confirm what the mould can hold.
Is it suitable for hot, cold or greasy food?
It depends on the use. For hot, greasy or long-held food we will confirm the temperature and hold-time it is rated for; for cold or dry service it performs comfortably. Always test a sample against your actual menu before a container order.
What certifications apply?
The material is tested to the common compostability standards (for example ASTM D6400 / EN 13432, and OK Compost where applicable). We supply the current certificate for your specific lot on request instead of leaning on a website badge.
