What These Are
Fork, spoon and knife pressed from bagasse pulp — the same fibre as our plates, formed into cutlery. Because it’s moulded fibre rather than cut wood, it comes out smoother-edged and a shade firmer in the hand than an open-pore wooden piece, which suits party and catering service where guests notice the tool.
The Honest Fit
- Comfortable on mild to warm mains, sides and desserts.
- Reads clearly as fibre/plant, good for an eco-branded event or buffet.
- A fibre piece is more rigid than paper but less springy than CPLA — if you serve very hot, heavy mains daily, run with CPLA; for party and buffet, this sits right.
End of Life
Bagasse is industrial-equivalent compostable in the same stream as our fibre plates (certificate per batch on request).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOQ for this product?
Mixed-container orders are the norm for this line. A trial quantity is possible, but the landed cost per unit climbs sharply on a part-load, so most buyers start with a small mix and then scale into a full container.
Can it be customised or printed?
Yes. Branding on this line goes on the outer packaging or an added sleeve rather than the product itself, and custom print needs artwork plus a tooling check. Send your logo and we will confirm what the mould can hold.
Is it suitable for hot, cold or greasy food?
It depends on the use. For hot, greasy or long-held food we will confirm the temperature and hold-time it is rated for; for cold or dry service it performs comfortably. Always test a sample against your actual menu before a container order.
What certifications apply?
The material is tested to the common compostability standards (for example ASTM D6400 / EN 13432, and OK Compost where applicable). We supply the current certificate for your specific lot on request instead of leaning on a website badge.
